New Emergency Call Box at the Fire Station
Merritt Fire Rescue and the City of Merritt are pleased to announce the installation of a new Emergency Call Box at the main entrance of the Merritt Fire Station on Cleasby Street. This new addition enhances community safety by ensuring that emergency assistance is always accessible, even when the fire hall is not staffed.
If the fire hall is unoccupied and you need to report an emergency, simply press the button on the Call Box. You will be connected directly with 911 operators, who can quickly dispatch fire, police, or ambulance services as needed.
Your safety is our highest priority. The new Emergency Call Box provides peace of mind by making sure that help is always just a button away, right here in our community.
Check out the new Emergency Call Box at the Merritt Fire Rescue station at 1799 Nicola Avenue. The new call box is located at the public entrance on Cleasby Street.
