Merritt Civic Centre

Located next to City Hall the Merritt Civic Centre is the ideal location for hosting your meeting, conference or special event. With two auditoriums, a full commercial kitchen, numerous meeting rooms of all sizes, the Civic Centre is versatile and ideal to host functions for as little as ten to as large as 450 people. The Merritt Civic Centre is home to our many fitness programs, and special events. It’s an excellent location to hold seminars, exhibitions, workshops, training, weddings, family reunions, parties, and other networking events.

• Full Commercial Kitchen: Walk-in cooler, ice machine, large double door upright freezer, food warmer, grill, 2 convection ovens, regular oven, 6 burner stove top.

• Full Auditorium: There is a removable wall between the East and West Auditorium to combine capacity.

Central Park Concession

The City-owned commercial concession facility in Central Park at 2975 Voght St, Merritt, BC V1K 1G9, is open for a leasing agreement with a qualified proponent, with the necessary knowledge of culinary business best practices, strong interpersonal skills, and experience in the restaurant/tourism industry.  The qualified proponent must submit a proposal.

The rental rate is $1200 per month.

Parks & Fields

Have a sports tournament? Or want to organize a social event? Central Park at 2975 Voght St, Merritt, BC V1K 1G9 is the perfect location for sports tournaments.  The neighbouring Rotary Park at 1990 Maxwell Avevue, with Spray Park and Bandshell, is a popular destination for large social events.
