How to pre-register for Emergency Support Services in B.C.

Emergencies can happen quickly. Pre-registering for Emergency Support Services, also called ESS, can make it easier to get help if you are ever evacuated from your home.

 

Before an emergency, check your home or tenant insurance to see what evacuation support is included.

To pre-register for ESS:

1. Go to ess.gov.bc.ca.

2. Select “Create Profile.”

3. Follow the BC Services Card login instructions.

 

If you are evacuated, follow your Evacuation Order and make your safety your first priority.
