4079 AIRPORT ROAD
The City of Merritt will be holding a Public Hearing for Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 2372, 2024, and Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2373, 2024 to allow:
• One Mixed use Development; One Drive Thru Development; and One commercial development at 3940 Crawford.
• One Mixed use Development at 4079 Airport Road.
PROPOSED CHANGES: Bylaw 2372 proposes to amend the OCP land use designation for 3940 Crawford Ave and 4079 Airport Rd from “Service Commercial” to “General Commercial and Mixed Use” to allow a mixed-use development with a residential component. Bylaw 2373 proposes to amend the City’s Zoning Bylaw by changing the zoning designation for 3940 Crawford Ave and 4079 Airport Rd from “Service Commercial (C3)” to “Regional Commercial (C7)” to allow a mixed-use development with a residential component.
PROVIDE INPUT: Input is welcomed at the Public Hearing on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 6:00 pm. Speak in person by signing up at the hearing, or by providing a written submission to the Corporate Officer at info@merritt.ca prior to noon August 23, 2024, or by mail to the Corporate Officer, City of Merritt, PO Box 189, Merritt, BC V1K 1B8, to be received before the conclusion of the hearing.
Please note that Council will not receive further submissions from the public concerning this application after the conclusion of the public hearing. It is the responsibility of the submitter to ensure that materials are received prior to the close of the public hearing.
