Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 with respect
to the below proposed Zoning & Official Community Plan Bylaw amendments. The Hearing will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall (2185 Voght St), and broadcast live on www.merritttttt .ca/
watchmeetings. Written or electronic submissions can be made prior to September 16th at 12 noon.

SUBJECT PROPERTY: Parcel E, Plan KAP747, District Lot 124, KDYD, OF LOT 37 (KD59288 & PL B935), PID: 016-217-209

ZONING BYLAW: That the Offi cial Zoning Map, being Schedule “A” of the City of Merritt Zoning Bylaw No. 2284, 2020, is amended by changing the zoning designation of the parcel legally described as Parcel E, Plan KAP747, District Lot 124, KDYD, OF LOT 37 (KD59288 & PL B935), PID: 016-217-209 from “Corridor Commercial (C4)” to “Medium Density Residential (R7)”.

SUBJECT PROPERTY: LOT A, DL 166, KDYD, PLAN KAP59518 EXCEPT PLANS KAP80122, KAP80344, KAP82864 and KAP84526, PID 023-827-661

OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN 2339, 2022: The Official Community Plan Land Use Designation Map is amended to change the parcel legally described as Lot A, DL 166, KDYD, Plan KAP59518 Except Plans KAP80122, KAP80344, KAP82864 and KAP84526, PID: 023-827-661 from “Future Development” to “Future Development”, “Low to Medium Density Residential”, and “Industrial”.

ZONING BYLAW 2340, 2022: That the Official Zoning Map, being Schedule “A” of the City of Merritt Zoning Bylaw No. 2284, 2020, is amended by changing the zoning designation of the parcel legally described as Lot A, DL 166, KDYD, Plan KAP59518 Except Plans KAP80122, KAP80344, KAP82864 and KAP84526, PID: 023-827-661 from “Recreation Commercial (C1)”, “Corridor Commercial (C4)”, and “Single Family Residential (R1)” to “Recreation Commercial (C1)”, “Small Parcel Residential (R3)”, “Medium Density Residential (R7)”, “Light Industrial (M1)”, and “Single Family Residential (R1)”.

SUBJECT PROPERTY: Lot A Plan KAP31990 District Lot 122 KDYD Except Plan 32340 & EXC 33946 PID: 003-551-768

OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN 2342, 2022: The Official Community Plan Land Use Designation Map is amended to change the parcel legally described as Lot A Plan KAP31990 District Lot 122 KDYD Except Plan 32340 & EXC 33946 PID: 003-551-768 from “General Commercial and Mixed Use” and “Medium to High Density Residential” to “Low to Medium Density Residential”, “General Commercial and Mixed Use”, and “Medium to High Density Residential”.

ZONING BYLAW 2343, 2022: That the Offi cial Zoning Map, being Schedule “A” of the City of Merritt Zoning Bylaw No. 2284, 2020, is amended by changing the zoning designation of the parcel legally described as Lot A Plan KAP31990 District Lot 122 KDYD Except Plan 32340 & EXC 33946 PID: 003-551-768 from “Corridor Commercial (C4)” and “Low Density Residential (R2)” to “Corridor Commercial (C4)” and “Low Density Residential (R2)”.

A copy of the proposed Bylaw amendments may be viewed Monday to Friday 8:30am to 12:00pm and 1:15pm to 4:30pm at City Hall, 2185 Voght Street, Merritt BC, until September 20, 2022, or online at any time at www.merritt.ca. Anyone who wishes to address the above Bylaw will be given the opportunity.

ORAL SUBMISSIONS may be made in-person at the time and place stated above.
WRITTEN SUBMISSIONS for dispatch with the agenda must be received NO LATER THAN 12:00PM FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 16, 2022, to ensure their availability to Council at the Public Hearing. Later written submissions may be made prior to or at the Hearing, but it is the responsibility of the submitter to ensure they have been received for distribution.
