Stronger by Design Community Day

Event details: 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.: Community event at Claybanks RV Park (1302 Voght St).
Venue: Large heated tents onsite, with street parking nearby.

What’s planned
-Engineering plans, maps and displays outlining future projects and upcoming funded flood mitigation work.
-Highlights from completed projects and the progress made over the past five years.
-Opportunities to speak with Flood Mitigation, Engineering and construction teams, alongside community partners, about upcoming work and construction impacts.
-An educational table about the Coldwater River fish counter.
-A screening of “5 Years,” Episode Two of the Coldwater Stories docuseries, with popcorn.
-Children’s activities, face painting, colouring contest.
-Snacks, coffee and hot chocolate.
-Raffles and giveaways.
