PUBLIC HEARING on TUESDAY, July 27, 2021 at 6:00PM

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 with respect to the below proposed Zoning Bylaw amendment. The hearing will be livestreamed on the City of Merritt website (, and in-person attendance is permitted. Written or electronic submissions can be made by prior to July 23rd at 12 noon. In-person submissions can be made at the hearing.

Zoning Bylaw:

That the Official Zoning Map, being Schedule “A” of the City of Merritt Zoning Bylaw No. 2284, 2020, is amended by changing the zoning designation of the parcel legally described as 3350 Voght Street, Block 5, District Lot 181, Kamloops Division Yale District, Plan 10096 Except Plan 14921, PID: 009-629-467 from “Medium Density Residential (R7)” to “Residential Modular Home (R4)”.

A copy of the proposed Bylaw amendment may be viewed Monday to Friday 10:00am to 12:00pm from July 15th to July 27th, 2021 at City Hall, 2185 Voght Street, Merritt BC, or online at any time at Anyone who wishes to address the above Bylaw will be given the opportunity by in-person, written or electronic submissions on all matters contained in the proposed Bylaw amendment. Written or electronic submissions must be received NO LATER THAN 12:00PM FRIDAY JULY 23RD, to ensure their availability to Council at the Public Hearing
