Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday November 12th, 2019 in the Council Chambers at Merritt City Hall, located at 2185 Voght Street, Merritt, BC with respect to the following proposed bylaw amendment:
Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2275, 2019 proposes to amend the City of Merritt Zoning Bylaw 2187, 2015 by Rezoning 1330 Pine Street from Agricultural (AR1) to (R2) Low Density Residential.
• FROM: AGRICULTURAL (AR1) this zone provides for the conservation and preservation of lands for agricultural use and production.
• TO: LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (R2) this zone is oriented towards the use and development of compact, pedestrian-oriented single family and two family dwellings on serviced lots.
