NEW BUSINESS
 
THAT Council directs staff to give notice of the intention of consider issuance of Development Variance Permit Application No. DVP2019-03 in a subsequent meeting to vary the following Sections of Zoning Bylaw No. 2187:
i. Section 6.14.5(a) to increase the maximum parcel coverage from ninety-five (95%) per cent to one hundred (100%) percent; and
ii. Section 6.14.7(b) to vary the private open space requirement from twenty (20m2) square metres to zero (0m2) square metres

THAT Council amend Council Policy 2.08 Busking/Street Entertainment, in accordance with the changes made in red font on the policy attached as Schedule “A”
 
THAT Council approves a 2019 Extraordinary Grant in Aid request of five thousand ($5,000) dollars for the Nicola Valley Search & Rescue (NVSAR) to go towards the purchase of the Mobile Command Centre to be funded through the available Financial Aid Grant in Aid funds
 
THAT Council direct staff to use the rural dividend grant funding to create a sports and recreation mural at the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena in 2019
 
THAT Council authorize a four thousand ($4,000) dollar payment to the Arts Council to assist in funding the Mayor’s Gala, to come from the Council Contingency fund
 
THAT the Terms of Reference for the BC PNP Committee be amended to add Ms. Mae Ketter from Community Futures Nicola Valley to the BC PNP Committee in a non-voting advisory capacity
