PUBLIC INPUT

Ginny Prowal presented to Council regarding item 7.5 (Water Parcel Tax Bylaw) and requested that Council consider reducing outdoor watering to twice a week, post monthly water consumption states, and continue to apply for grants to implement water meters.
 
GENERAL MATTERS - Delegations and Recognitions
 
Mr. Nesbit presented information to Council about a proposed open pit sand and gravel mine approximately 1.8km outside of Merritt on Highway 8.  Mr. Nesbit requested that Council write a letter to the Province

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
 
THAT Council directs the Mayor and Director of Corporate Services to execute a two (2) year Tourism and Visitor Information Services Agreement with the Nicola Valley Heritage Society with an initial increase in funding of twenty-five (25%) percent (ten thousand one hundred eighty-three ($10,183) dollars in 2019 and an incremental increase of two (2%) percent for 2020, resulting in yearly payments of fifty-one thousand one hundred eleven ($51,111) dollars in 2019 and fifty-two thousand one hundred thirty-three dollars and twenty cents ($52,133.20) in 2020
