What's new?

The Nicola River water levels within the boundaries of the City of Merritt have not changed substantially over the long weekend.  

The deadline for Expressions of Interest in Leasing Aviation Hangar has been extended until 2:00 pm local time on Thursday June 15, 2017.

This information bulletin has been issued to assist residents in protecting their home and property from the increasing risk of further flooding.

The following is a new release from the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resources dated May 9, 2017.
 
More flooding expected along Nicola Lake and river.

The City of Merritt is inviting Expressions of Interest from parties’ interested in leasing an aviation hangar and surrounding land located at 4494 Airport Road.  The City is seeking a long term tenant that will put the hangar to the highest and best use that will benefit the community.

The City of Merritt would like to advise the public that the prescribed burn for the area between Parker Drive & Central Park has been cancelled.

If you have not received your semi-annual water, sewer & garbage invoice in the mail please contact the City of Merritt at 250-378-4224.
