The City of Merritt Public Works Department is accepting Request for Proposals for a Design-build of an addition to the current Public Works Shop located at 1298 Coldwater Ave.

Bc Hydro has supplied the latest update on the Interior to Lower Mainland Transmission Project.The contractor will be burning slash piles on BC Hydro’s right-of-way between Merritt and Boston Bar this winter.

City of Merritt is receiving kudos from the BC Trucking Association for their decision to approve a temporary LNG refuelling station. 

Invitation to attend the Nicola Naturalist Society meeting:
Mary Sandy (Esh-kn-am Cultural Resources Management Services) will  be giving a presentation on  "Archaeology & wildlife from a First Nations perspective".

The Nomination Period for Candidate packages for the By-Election is January 7th to January 17th, 2014.   Completed candidate packages should be dropped off at City Hall no later than 4:30pm on January 17th.  Our office will be open for regular hours, 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
