Expect delays up to 15 minutes. The road will be reduced to single lane alternating traffic. The grinding will take place today and paving is expected on Friday. Traffic control will be in place but expect minor delays.

City of Merritt Parks including Lions, Rotary and Voght Parks will be officially open for the season as of Friday, April 3rd.

Work is approximately 95% complete on the project. Utilities have been laid in place and final hook-ups will be completed shortly.

Keep an eye out on Nicola Avenue for the rest of today. (March 30) City Council is busy again working on their commitment to the Adopt-A-Road program. Their stretch of the road runs from the 7-11 on Nicola Ave. all the way to Douglas St.

The traffic lights on the corner of Quilchena Avenue and Garcia Street are currently flashing red all four ways. Please treat this intersection as if it is a 4 way stop until the traffic lights are back in working order. Estimated time of the repair is 2-3 weeks.
