January 12, 2016— Please be reminded that the late penalty, 10% of the business licence is now in effect. This applies to those businesses which have not already renewed their business licence for 2016. Renewal reminders were mailed out the end of November 2015.

Merritt —December 17, 2015— The City of Merritt is pleased to announce the position for Director of Corporate Services has been filled. Starting the beginning of March, Melisa Miles will be entering her new role as the Director of Corporate Services.

2016 Dog Licences are now available at City Hall. Renewal notices were mailed at the end of November. Having a dog license means your furry friend can be home safe and happy much sooner than without. The cost is only 16 dollars for neutered or spayed dogs, and 32 dollars if they are intact.
