Everyone is welcome to join the GOBYBIKE Pedal Pursuit Challenge – walk, bike, rollerblade, or use any wheeled item to log kilometers!

Welcome to the GOBYBIKE Pedal Pursuit Challenge! From June 03 to June 09, join us in this inclusive event where you can walk, bike, rollerblade, or use any wheeled item to log kilometers. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or enjoy a leisurely stroll, every kilometer counts towards your journey. Log your kilometers at https://logmyride.gobybikebc.ca/ or pick up a Kilometer tracker from the MCC to manually log your kilometers between June 3-9th. Submit your kilometers by June 10th – drop off manual trackers at the MCC front desk or email a screenshot from logmyride to recreation@merritt.ca. The winner will be announced on June 11th. Let’s pedal together towards a healthier, happier community!

How to Participate:

  1. Log Your Kilometers: Visit https://logmyride.gobybikebc.ca/ to log your kilometers online, or pick up a Kilometer tracker from the MCC to log manually.
  2. Submit Your Kilometers: Submit your kilometers by June 10th – drop off manual trackers at the MCC front desk or email a screenshot from logmyride to recreation@merritt.ca.
  3. Stay Tuned: The winner will be announced on June 11th.

You can pick up your Kilometer Trackers and get information about GOBYBIKE at the Civic Center from June 3rd to June 9th, 2024. The City of Merritt’s Community Policing Office will also be at the Civic Center on June 4th from 9 am to 11 am, providing free Garage 529 bike registration for Bike to Work participants. Enjoy complimentary muffins and refreshments as well!
