Fall GoByBike Week

October 16 to 29, 2023
Anywhere  |   Anytime

We encourage British Columbians to ride their bike as much as possible from October 16 to 29, 2023: ride to work, to school, for fun, for exercise, to relieve stress, to clear your mind … no matter the reason, just ride your bike and log your total kilometers online at www.GoByBikeBC.ca and you’ll be entered into a prize draw for some great prizes! REGISTRATION IS OPEN.

Merritt GoByBike (GBB) Week is made possible with the continuous support from the GoByBikeBC Society. Our goal is to encourage more people to use bikes, rollerblades, and scooters as a means of transportation and become an activity that we can enjoy as a community while reducing our carbon footprint!

Explore Scenic Routes: Discover the beauty of our picturesque routes that wind through Merritt’s breathtaking landscapes. From serene countryside rods to challenging hill climbs, there’s a path for every rider.

Enjoy the Outdoors: Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and soak in the fresh air and sunshine.

Stay Active: Cycling is a fantastic way to stay fit and healthy while having fun.

Connect with Fellow Cyclists: Join a vibrant community of cyclists who share your passion. Swap stories, make new friends, and foster a sense of camaraderie as you ride together.

Register now, and start tracking your kilometers biked to see how many kilograms of greenhouse gases you save. Participation is free, fun, helps you stay fit and healthy, and it’s great for the environment! … AND, you can win great prizes!!

Let’s #gobybikebc even more in 2023! Getting around on smaller wheels like scooters and rollerblades counts, too! … taking the bus part way, or carpooling halfway, or using a car for a portion of a long commute, as well! #AnyRideCounts

And make sure to follow GoByBike on social channels for updates when it comes to contests, challenges – and PRIZES!
