Meet your fellow car and drag race enthusiasts at this new annual event at Saunders Field in Merritt, BC, Canada.
The Merritt May Days Drag Race event brings together drag racers from all around western Canada and parts of the USA to participate in the drag races, peruse display cars, savour various food offerings, explore vendor booths, and partake in the excitement and the power of burning rubber.
Schedule of Events
Registration and Tech Inspection can be done anytime Friday or Saturday morning prior to 10am.

– 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Pancake Breakfast (Rotary Charity)
– 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Campsite Check-in / Registration & Tech Inspection
– 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM: Qualifying Runs – Daily Drivers Class
– 12:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Qualifying Runs – Street Machine Class
– 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Qualifying Runs – Biker Class
– 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Qualifying Runs – Outlaw Class
– 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Break
– 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Finals – All Classes
– 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Special Show – Drifters Exhibition
– 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Special Show – Brett Turcotte Sled Acrobat stunt demonstrations
– 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Social Time
– 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Night Drag Racing – Open Class

– 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Open Track – Test and Tune for Enthusiasts
– 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Dinner Break
– 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Live Band Performance
Throughout the Event:
– Food vendors and merchandise stalls open during event
– Various vendors and displays in the exhibition area
