Central Park Concession

Enjoy a treat or a bite to eat at the Central Park Concession, open summers from about 11am to dusk.  While there, catch a game at this tournament capital of the city and peruse the many wood sculptures as the kids play in the playground, or venture into the nearby Skateboard Pump Track or Bike Pump Track or play a game in the Multi-use Sports Box.

Are you interested in operating the Central Park Concession this summer?

The City of Merritt is inviting expressions of interest to operate the City-owned commercial concession facility in Central Park at 2975 Voght St, Merritt, BC V1K 1G9.

Qualified proponents are invited to submit proposals by Friday, March 22, 2024. The ideal proponent will have knowledge of culinary business best practices, strong interpersonal skills, and experience in the restaurant/tourism industry.

The proposals should include an outline of relevant experience, qualifications, and business plan (not to exceed 3 pages). The proponent’s submission should include a description of how they will create visually attractive and locally inspired cuisine options for locals and visitors alike.

Note that the Successful Proponent will not be the lone food vendor in the park, as other food vendors may be permitted as part of a Special Event or pursuant to City Bylaws.
