FIREWORKS BYLAW

Section 9.3 of the Fire Safety Regulations bylaw states “No Fireworks may be offered for sale or used except between the dates of October 16 and November 1st in each year. The sale or use of fireworks outside these days may be permitted with the written authorization of the Fire Chief.”

Concession Stand Attendant (1)

  1. Prepare Canada Day Treats: Add mini flags to cupcakes and serve at booth for Canada Day
  2. Serve Customers: Serve concession items.
  3. Handle Money: Take payments, give correct change, and keep track of sales.
  4. Keep Things Clean: Keep the stand tidy.
  5. Flexibility: Volunteers can stand or sit as needed while operating the concession stand.
  6. Work Together: Help each other out and make sure everything runs smoothly.
  7. Shaded Area: Note that the concession stand will be set up under a tent, providing shade from the sun.
  8. Water Provided: Water will be available for volunteers to stay hydrated during the event.
  9. Have Fun: Enjoy the festivities and celebrate Canada Day with everyone!fe environment.

Inflatable Game Supervisors (3)

  1. Safety Oversight: Ensure the safe operation of inflatable games and adherence to safety guidelines by participants.
  2. Instructions: Provide clear instructions to participants on how to safely use the inflatable games.
  3. Assistance: Assist participants as needed, such as helping children in and out of the inflatables or providing guidance on game rules.
  4. Monitoring: Monitor the condition of the inflatable games for any signs of wear or damage, reporting any issues to event organizers.
  5. Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies or incidents involving the inflatable games.
  6. Communication: Communicate effectively with event organizers, other volunteers, and participants to ensure a smooth experience.
  7. Enjoyment: Encourage participants to have fun and enjoy the inflatable games while maintaining a safe environment.
