NICOLA VALLEY ARTS COUNCIL

Summer Artisan Show and Sale

Thursday, June 29 to Sunday, Sept 10, 2023
Art Gallery: 2051 Voght Street (beside Kekuli Cafe)
Open Wednesdays to Saturdays | 10am to 5pm
Sundays | 12:00pm to 4:00pm.

Over 30 of our participating artisans will be bringing in new items and we have several more artisans and artists from the community showing and selling their work during this special show, open Thursday, June 29 and running until Sunday, Sept 10.

We are excited to offer so many unique and local gifts for people to choose from during the summer months. Wood carved and crafted feathers and furniture, silk scarves dyed with natural local plants, bright stained glass,  useful and beautiful pottery, upcycled clothes and painted totes, art-on-the-wall, Brambles granola, handcrafted soaps, lotions, and honey made right here in the Nicola Valley. We have something for everyone!

We are very happy to feature local well-known artist Cassandra Dolen, displaying both new originals and favorite prints, as well as greeting cards for all occasions.

We have a very good selection of cards by local artists, of art and photography. And books by writers in the valley, from nature to children’s stories.

Gallery Curator, Jano Howarth says, “We are excited to welcome new-to-us artists and artisans: Gayani Jayaweera and Lacey McRae with acrylic  and pastel wall art, Chris Bur and Murray Yurkowski with woodcrafts, Judy Myram with knitted gift bags and totes. We also welcome back several creatives who have been a part of the shop or shows in the past. And I am very pleased to have our long time Nicola Valley artist Cassandra Dolen with us, showing her gorgeous style…”

Buy local, buy homemade…
