Coldwater Avenue will be closed between Champan Street and Voght Street on April 18, 2018 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

Students and parents to access Merritt Secondary School via Chapman Street and Cleasby Street.

Lower Nicola Eco-Depot, 2348 Woodward Road

On Saturday, May 12 from 9am to 3pm, a Household Hazardous Waste Round-Up will be held at the Merritt Civic Centre parking lot. Residents will be able to dispose of household hazardous waste safely and for free. Residential hazardous waste only.

Drop-In Sessions in 2018 with Mayor Menard are scheduled for the following dates in the second quarter:

Spring has arrived and the City of Merritt will be celebrating by bringing out the street sweepers!  Weather permitting, crews will commence a City-wide street sweeping program running from March 19th, 2018 to April 2nd, 2018.  Thank you for your patience.

Crime Prevention - What We Do 

The Community Policing Office is a crime prevention office located in downtown Merritt at 2026 Granite Ave. The CPO works with community partners to identify the root causes of crime and through education and awareness, strives to prevent and reduce crime in the community.
