What:  Annual Country Christmas Light Up Parade

Due to a clerical error, the City of Merritt must cancel and restart the Alternative Approval Process for “Bylaw No.

Over the last 20 years, the Merritt Fire Department has evolved from a department with limited volunteer firefighter training and extended response times to a highly respected and well trained department.  

The semi-annual City of Merritt residential utility invoices were mailed in October.  The due date to receive the 10% discount is November 30, 2017.  Invoices unpaid at December 31, 2017 will be transferred to the property tax account. 

The Mayor's drop in session scheduled for November 1, 2017 has been cancelled.

The City of Merritt was recently advised by the TNRD, that some curbside recycling containers were contaminated with items that are not permitted in the recycling containers, such as yard waste i.e. leaves, twigs etc. - this contaminated the entire bin container load.
